    If you think all our Tollywood stars are all college dropouts, you are mistaken. Some of them are more qualified than us. It’s just that despite their degrees, they choose careers in Tollywood industry.

    Let’s look at some of the most qualified celebrities in Tollywood

    1. Daggubati Venkatesh :

    Victory Venkatesh was born to prolific film producer, Ramanaidu Daggubati and Rajeshwari in Karamchedu village of Prakasam District. He has an elder brother Suresh Babu Daggubati who runs Suresh Production. Venkatesh did his schooling in Don Bosco, Egmore, Chennai. He graduated with a Bachelors in Commerce from Loyola College, Chennai and masters in MBA from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, USA. After his return to India, he wanted to get into film production but instead, became an actor in Telugu films.

    2. Akkineni Nagarjuna:

    Akkineni Nagarjuna, well know as Yuva Samrat is son of Legendary actor Nageswara Rao. He attended the Hyderabad Public School and Little Flower Junior College. He got his Bachelor of Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy. He completed M.S. in Automobile Engineering from Eastern Michigan University, USA.


    3. Nandamuri Balakrishna:

    Nandamuri Balakrishna was born in Chennai , Tamil Nadu to Legendary actor and three-time former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and his wife Basava Tarakam. As the Telugu film industry was based in Madras at the time, he spent his entire childhood in Madras. During his adolescence, he moved to Hyderabad following the shifting of the Telugu film industry to that city. He earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Nizam College, Hyderabad.


    4. Chiranjeevi:

    Megastar Chiranjeevi was born in Mogalthur, a small village near Narsapur. His father worked as a constable and got transferred on a regular basis. Chiranjeevi did his schooling in Nidadavolu, Gurajala, Bapatla, Ponnuru, Mangalagiri and Mogalturu. Chiranjeevi had participated in the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi as an NCC cadet in the early 70s. He did his Intermediate at C. S. R. Sarma College in Ongole.  After graduating with a degree in commerce from Sri Y N College at Narsapur, Chiranjeevi moved to Chennai and joined the Madras Film Institute in 1976 to pursue a career in acting.


    5. Ravi Teja:

    Mass Maha Raj Ravi Teja was born to Raj Gopal Raju and Rajya Lakshmi Bhupatiraju in the village of Jaggampeta, Andhra Pradesh. Teja ‘s father was a pharmacist and his mother was a homemaker. Teja spent most of his childhood in Northern India because his father used to move very often due to his work. His schooling was in Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai and Bhopal. Teja completed his schooling at N.S.M. Public School, Vijayawada. Later on he completed his Bachelors in Arts at Siddhartha Degree College, Vijayawada. In 1988 he went to Chennai to start his career in films.


    6. Mahesh Babu:

    Superstar Mahesh Babu is son of Legendary actor Ghattamaneni Shiva Rama Krisha. He was educated at St. Bede’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, Chennai where actor Karthi and Surya were his schoolmates. Superstar Mahesh was above average student and weak in Mathematics. He is bachelor’s degree graduate in commerce from Loyola College in Chennai. Mahesh still can’t read and write Telugu, he memorises the dialogues given by his directors during dubbing and shooting of his films


    7. Prabhas:

    Young Rebel Star Prabhas original name is Prabhas Raju Uppalapati, he is born in Chennai. Prabhas is the nephew of veteran actor Krishnam Raju. He did his Schooling in DNR School, Bhimavaram and college in Sri Chaitanya Junior College, Hyderabad. He is a B.Tech graduate.


    8. Samantha:

    Samantha Ruth Prabhu was born to a Telugu father Prabhu and a Malayali mother Ninette Prabhu and was brought up in Pallavaram, Tamil Nadu. Samantha attended and completed her schooling at St.Stephens Matriculation School, Pallavaram and Holy Angels Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School, T.Nagar, Chennai. In High School. Samantha was very good at economics. She was graduated in Bachelor of Commerce degree from Stella Maris College, Chennai.


     9.Kajal Agarwal:

    Kajal Agarwal was born in Mumbai. Kajal is graduate in Bachelor of Mass Media  from Kishinchand Chelaram College, well known as K. C. College, in Mumbai. She also worked as marketing executive in MNC before pursuing her career in films


    10. Anushka Shetty:

    Born as Sweety Shetty in Mangalore, Karnataka, Anushka is an ethnic Tuluva.  Anushka did her schooling in Bangalore and her Bachelor of Computer Applications at the Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. She was also a yoga instructor, trained under Bharat Thakur.
