King Nagarjuna starrer Soggade Chinni Nayana  is most awaited family entertainer of this Sankrathi. Ramya Krishna and Lavanya Krishna played the female lead roles. This is directed by debutant director Kalyan Krishna. Lets see did Soggade Chinni Nayana live upto expectations?

Story: Ramu (Nagarjuna) and Seetha (Lavanya) live in USA and decides to get divorced as Ramu is devoted to his profession and doesn’t care for her. They come to Ramu’s village to convey this to his mother Satyabhama (Ramya Krishna). She gets shocked by their decision and seeks the help of her dead husband Bangarraju (Nagarjuna). His soul comes back  to earth to solve the issues of his son. While Bangarraju is busy in getting his son on track, he comes to know there is a much bigger danger that is soon going to strike his family. How will BangaruRaju take revenge and saves his family before going back to Yama lokam is the movie all about.

    Plus Points:

    • Chemistry of Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishna
    • Music
    • First Half

    Minus Point:

    • Slow second half
    • Routine Story line

Performance: The performance of Nagarjuna is superb, he has done justice to both roles  Bangaruraju and Ram Mohan. The chemistry between Ramya Krishna and Nagarjuna stole the show. Lavanya is very good as a wife who is looking for some attention from her husband. Anushka Shetty,  Anasuya and Hamsa Nandini added glamour to film. The music scored by Anoop Rubens is impressive. The director and script writer should have worked on script and the second half of the movie as it is dragged. Considering his first movie  as director Kalyan Krishna has done good job in direction.  Soggade Chinni Nayana is a neat family entertainer for this Sankarthi.
