Mega hero Varun Tej and Dishna Patani starrer  “Loafer” , directed by Puri Jagannadh has hit the theaters this weekend. Senior actress Revathi and Posani Krishna Murali played supporting roles.

Story: Raja (Varun) is separated from his mother (Revathi) by his father Murali (Posani) who is a loafer. Raja turns out to be a pick pocketer. He falls in love with Mouni (Disha) who runs away from home to escacpe from unwanted marriage. Mouni’s aunt Lakshmi (Revathi) comes to Jodhpur when she gets to know about her love. Raja is shocked to see his mother Lakshmi as his father told that his mother is dead.

    Plus Point:
    Performance of Varun Tej
    Disha Patani Glamour
Posani Krishna Murali and Revathi Characters

    Minus Point:
    Bad Comedy
    Predictable story line

Varun Tej has improved as an actor and he has entertained audiences with his action and emotional scenes. His dialogue delivery and body languages are appreciable. Actress Disha Patani impressed audiences by her stunning and glamorous look. Revathi’s performance in sentimental scenes are good and she stole the show in role of mother. Mother and son drama is the core story of the film but director Puri Jagannadh messed it up with a very bad screenplay. There is not a single heart touching moment in the movie despite the mother sentiment. Loafer is a casual film targeted at mass audience. Like most of the recent Puri’s movies Loafer is a below average film.
